Year 3 and 4 General Information
For Year 3 & 4, players have developed basic netball skills and now transition to a 5-a-side game. The focus is on further developing fundamental movement and ball skills through a modified format. To ensure a positive experience, players should rotate positions and receive equal playing time.
Season Dates: May 9th and plays for 10 weeks.
The final week will be a mini-tournament where each team plays three games during their session time.
Session Format: The first 9 weeks are made up of a warmup and skills session followed by a game.

Teams are allocated into the same session each week - the details are in the fixture display below. There are no defaults in this age group. If you are short of players please show up with the players that are able to play. If you can, please let the Year 3/4 coordinator know in advance (year3and4@nsnetball.co.nz) or let the Year 3/4 leads know on the day. They will be able to help your team borrow from another so that no kids miss out on their game.
