Umpires

Each team in grades Year 5, 7 and 8 is responsible for providing their own umpire. However, if for any reason your umpire cannot make a game you can email umpirepoolcoordinator@nsnetball.co.nz to request a pool umpire. Requests have to be received no later than 6 pm on the Thursday before the Saturday game. There is no guarantee that there will be an umpire available.

Year 6 teams will be provided with a Kiwi Whistler umpire. If a KW isn’t available for your team, NSN will provide a pool umpire for your team for that week at no cost to your team.

Note about Kiwi Whistlers: Managers, please let your teams know (parents included) that the KW are Y8 students in training. Please encourage players, coaches, and supporters to be supportive and realistic. Every KW has a mentor with them. Only the mentor or the KW Umpires Coach can speak to the KW umpires.
