Northern Suburbs Netball Incorporated - Game Information

Please check your draw every Wednesday as the draw may change.

Northern Suburbs Netball utilises both Newlands Intermediate and Newlands College Netball courts for its Saturday Netball Competition, with the majority of the games being played at the College.

Game Format

Year 5 will be starting the new 6v6 format in 2017 - more info to come

Year 5 & 6 games have 4 x 8 minute quarters.

There will be a 1 minute interval at 1/4 time and 3/4 quarter time and 2 minutes at 1/2 time.

Year 7 & 8 games have 4 x 10 minute quarters.

There will be a 1 mintue interval at 1/4 time and  3/4 quarter time and 3 minutes at 1/2 time.

The timekeeper will sound the bell to signal to the umpires the start and end of each game quarter. The umpire will blox his/her whistle to start and stop each quarter.

Injuries and Assistance

For all injuries come over to where the timekeeper stands at the courts, Northern Suburbs has qualified first aid staff available.
Require assistance? Northern Suburbs have committee members floating around, check the notice board at the courts for information on who to contact. These members are more than willing to help you.

Umpires

The Duty Umpire/Acting Duty Umpire is identifiable by a yellow vest.
